Can I apply more than once? 
Absolutely! We encourage everyone to apply for any grants they are interested in.

Can I use the same application inputs more than once? 
Yes, you don’t need to reinvent the wheel! We send you an email each time you apply with all the inputs you provided for that application. This way you can just cut and paste your answers for next time.
Hint: The email comes from [email protected] with the subject: We’ve received your STACKTˣ Storefront Grant Application.

What is the process and timeline for each Grant? 
Once the applications are closed, members of the STACKT committee will review all grant submissions and shortlist the applications. Shortlisted applicants will have a virtual one-on-one interview with a senior member of the STACKT team and a grant winner will be awarded accordingly. Typically, this process will take 1 to 2 weeks from the application close date.

How long would the free storefront be for?
The storefront grant provides the opportunity to win a 1-month long FREE lease in a storefront at STACKT market.

Where will the free storefront be?
The storefront grant for Toronto will be in a unit at the STACKT market flagship location on 28 Bathurst Street, Toronto, ON.
The storefront grant for Ottawa will be at the STACKTx Ottawa location in ByWard Market at 60 ByWard Market Square, Ottawa, ON.

I see you are launching other grant locations across Canada, where are they and when will they be open? 
We are opening new STACKTx pop-up shops across Canada this year. We have already launched in Ottawa and will be launching in high-traffic areas in Calgary and Vancouver soon. What are the hours of operation for the free storefront? 
Our standard marketplace operating hours in Toronto are 12-8 pm Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays).
The standard operating hours for our Ottawa location are 10-6 pm Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays).

Can I hire someone to manage the store?
Yes, you can. We recommend spending as much time within your storefront as possible to interact with the community but understand that to grow you need to focus on building your business too. If you need help finding someone to manage your storefront we can help.
